Desert Bighorn Sheep

About The Hunt

December–March, Annually

Experience an exclusive hunting adventure in the northern state of Sonora, known as “Old México.” We offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on a vast private ranch spanning 400,000+ acres. Receive one of only 4 permits available per year to hunt record-book desert bighorn sheep. Hunters consistently spot multiple rams daily, with a 100% opportunity rate. You will be accompanied by a spotter and a professional 1×1 guide. Transportation is provided by modern high-rack trucks. Glass and strategize from the mountain base, with a personalized plan for success. There are accessible areas that cater to hunters of all abilities but expect rugged and challenging terrain. Trophy rams typically measure from 165 to the low 180s B&C. After the hunt, relax at a comfortable ranch house and savor traditional Mexican cuisine. You can also add desert mule deer to your hunting package for an additional fee. Reservations for this top desert sheep destination are often required at least a year in advance.
